We encourage all parents & carers to think carefully about travelling to school by car as there is limited car parking space available on or around the site. We encourage walking, car sharing, cycling and independent travel for our older pupils.

If you live further afield (more than 3 miles), arrangements for getting your child safely to and from Thriftwood are made by the Local Authority, SEN Transport Assessment Team 0345 6032200. In our experience, children cope well with the journey to school by Local Authority transport, even though it may add to the length to their day.

Kinect Services Limited, currently provide the school transport. Please call their Transport Team on 01702 597995 should you need to discuss your child's transport.

If you should experience transport difficulties and your child uses Local Authority transport, please inform PASSENGER TRANSPORT - 0345 6032200 direct, rather than the school. Thank you.
