We encourage all parents & carers to think carefully and responsibly about travelling to School or College, as there is limited car parking space available on or around the sites; we encourage walking, car sharing and, for older pupils, cycling or independent travel.

If you live further afield, arrangements for getting your child safely to and from Thriftwood are usually made by the Local Authority, SEN Transport Assessment Team 0345 6032200. In our experience, children cope well with the journey to School or College by Local Authority transport, even though it may add to the length of their day.

Kinect Services Limited, currently provide the School/College transport. Please call their Transport Team on 01702 597995 should you need to discuss your child's transport.

If you should experience transport difficulties and your child uses Local Authority transport, please inform PASSENGER TRANSPORT - 0345 6032200 direct, rather than the School or College. Thank you.
