The Government has introduced a bursary scheme to help students aged 16-19 to maintain a place in full-time education.  It is designed to assist students from lower income backgrounds to continue in education where there is financial difficulty.

You should apply for a bursary on behalf of the student as soon as possible.

If you are unable to print a form, please request a copy from the college reception and return it to Thriftwood College.

Please remember to include copies of evidence in order to support your application. Regretfully, without the evidence your application cannot be processed.

If your your person has already been granted a vulnerable or discretionary bursary and you would like to request a payment towards a specific educational item or event, please contact the Finance Team at college on 01245 262779, who will be pleased to help.

The deadline for applications is the 30th of September.
