... a name all our Year 11 students have chosen. We have come away from Young Enterprise this year and have decided that we can "go it alone"! The students will still sell shares in their company to raise capital and we will still be attending sales in and out of School/College and the community.
Our Year 11 students are broken up into two groups:The Production Group, which remain at the College on a Friday and The Management Group who come to the school site every Friday.
The College Team will be making bird boxes, glass wear and various ceramic items (as well as running Fairtrade) and the School Team will produce the more crafty items i.e. cards, jewellery etc.
Team Programme has been running for a number of years and enables our older students to set up and run their own company.
We are looking forward to seeing how successful Infinity are this year, all products will be available for sale throughout the year.
This year we have also seen the launch of the new Year 9 Enterprise (to raise money for their residential trip) The children have come up with and voted on the name and this year we have ....
The Team have been busy selling healthy snacks every Tuesday at break time and making staff lunches.
So far they have managed to bank £100 towards the residential trip and have a few new ideas for after half term to raise more money.
